For buyers planning a detergent powder production line, the question is not simply how many machines are offered, but whether the proposed equipment covers the required production steps and their connections.

After defining your product and capacity requirements, review the proposed configuration from material intake to finished output. The following points can help structure that discussion with Meibao before the Canton Fair.

1. Start with the Materials Entering the Line

Explain whether production will begin with individual raw materials, purchased base powder or material received from an existing section.

Then clarify how those materials will enter the equipment. Depending on the project, the scope may include bag emptying, storage, feeding, weighing or liquid dosing. These functions should be identified individually rather than assumed to be part of the main processing machine.

This establishes the starting point for the equipment list and shows which material-handling tasks remain outside it.

2. Match Processing Equipment to the Selected Process

Ask the supplier to group the proposed equipment by function, such as preparation, mixing, drying where required, post-addition and screening.

The selected process determines which sections are needed. A spray drying tower should be included when the project requires spray drying; other configurations may start with prepared base powder and require a different equipment arrangement.

For each section, understand its purpose and what material it receives and discharges. This helps you review the configuration without needing to assess every machine specification at the first meeting.

3. Review the Connections Between Sections

Check how material moves from one section to the next. Conveyors, transfer equipment, intermediate hoppers and temporary storage may be needed depending on the layout and operating arrangement.

Ask which connections are included and whether any transfer steps are expected to be handled manually or by existing equipment. Where production sections operate at different rates or on different schedules, discuss how material will be held and supplied between them.

These questions help clarify how the proposed machines will work together as a production line.

4. Define the Packaging Endpoint

A line ending with bulk finished powder has a different equipment scope from one delivering filled and sealed packs.

Provide the intended package types, pack weights and expected packing output. Clarify whether the proposal includes weighing, filling, sealing and pack conveying, and whether subsequent handling is required.

If packaging equipment already exists, share its relevant details so the connection with upstream production can be reviewed. Packaging requirements should be considered alongside the production equipment.

5. Make Equipment Status Clear

Request an equipment list that distinguishes included items, optional items, customer-supplied equipment and exclusions.

Also check how relevant dust collection, heat supply and control equipment are treated. A system needed for operation is not necessarily included in every quotation.

Recording these distinctions helps buyers compare proposals against the same requirements and identify points needing clarification before the configuration is finalized.
